SATURDAY - PADDLE BATTLE 4 MILE & 10 MILE RACE  - 8:30am & 9:30am            SUNDAY - PADDLE BATTLE 5K RUN & 3 MILE PADDLE & 5K- 8:30am   2011 - Paddle Battle Results 4 mile & 10 mile 2011 - 5K Results & 5K & 3 mile Paddle           Join the Friends of Blue Spring in the 6th Annual Paddle Battle September 17th & 18th 2011. The event offers a scenic route through Blue Spring State Park along the St. Johns River Saturday & Sunday. After each of these events tour Blue Spring and enjoy the scenery and take a dip in the spring. Saturday - Kicks off with a canoe and kayak race with the 10 mile race starting at 8:30 a.m. and the 4 mile race at 9:30 a.m. See event information for more details. Sunday - Those who love to run and love the water will have the option to choose three events. See event information for more details.      Option 1: 5K run & 3 mile canoe/kayak      Option 2: 5K run/walk       The drawing for the kayak will occur on January 29, 2012, at the Manatee Festival. Entrants in the drawing need not be present to win. All funds raised for the drawing go to Friends of Blue Spring State Park, Inc., CSO. The kayak has been donated by Travel-Country. There is no purchase necessary to receive a drawing ticket. Recommended donation is $2.00 per ticket or 3 for $5.00. We would like to thank Travel Country for donating the kayak.
